A field user sees a more limited task view when assigned as crew instead of as the lead.

Check these first

  1. Was the person assigned as the lead or as crew?
  2. Is the complaint about missing contact info, files, materials, or work-progress tools?
  3. Does the same task look normal for the assigned lead?

Most common reasons

1. The person is assigned as crew

This is the most common reason.

Field users assigned as crew can see:

  • Task header details
  • The assigned lead
  • The crew list

They do not see:

  • Builder contact details
  • Superintendent contact details
  • Work progress tools
  • Files
  • Materials
  • "Your tasks"

Fix: Confirm whether the person should stay assigned as crew or should be the lead on that task.

2. The person expected the lead view

A scheduler may assume every field user sees the same task detail, but the view depends on assignment type.

Fix: Review how the person was assigned.
