How to clear your browser cache and why its helpful.

Clearing your browser cache and cookies can resolve display issues when encountered on the  Retti site. Cached files like JavaScript, CSS, and images may become outdated or corrupted, causing pages to break. Similarly, invalid cookies can also lead to login problems or loading errors. When Retti is updated, clearing the cache ensures Chrome loads the latest version.

How to clear your Google Chrome cache (Desktop Version):

  1. Open Chrome.

  2. Click the three-dot menu () in the upper-right corner.

  3. Hover over "History", then click "History" again in the submenu that slides out.

  4. Click "Delete browsing data" on the left-hand sidebar.

  5. In the popup Choose Time range, then select "All time." 

    1. Check:

      1. “Cookies and other site data”

      2. “Cached images and files”

    2. (Optional) Uncheck “Browsing history” if you don’t want to delete your visited sites list.

  6. Click “Delete data.”

  7. Restart Chrome and reload the website.

How to clear your Google Chrome cache (Mobile Version):

  1. Open Chrome.

  2. Tap the three-dot menu ( on Android or on iOS) in the bottom or top-right corner.

  3. Go to "History", then tap “Delete browsing data.”

  4. Select Time range and set it to All time.

  5. Select Browsing data.
  6. Ensure the boxes for the following are checked:

    1. “Cookies, site data”

    2. “Cached images and files”

  7. Tap “Delete data.”

    1. Confirm if prompted.
